What is The Artisan List?

We are an online artisan community and directory.  We support talented artisans in your local community and around the world.  Search by categories, artisans and/or locations.  View artisan profiles, get to know them personally and shop directly from their websites.

We prioritize listing artisans that are unique, highly skilled, professional, ethical, responsible and provide excellent customer care. ​

How do artisans get involved?

We are a growing community and are always inviting new artisans to join The Artisan List!  Artisans should fill out our online application.  Join Us!

What are the benefits of being listed in The Artisan List directory?

1. We offer a platform that focuses on you, the artisan. We believe that your community and the rest of the world, wants to know who you are.  We are passionate about showcasing you, your unique creative process and the products you create.

You benefit from being a part of a talented network of artisans in your community... and around the world.  As each artisan supports and promotes The Artisan List on their personal social media platforms, we can reach thousands of customers around the world together!  While you are promoting other artisans, they are promoting you.  Not only that, The Artisan List team will be building relationships within your community to showcase your work. ​

Is there a fee for being listed on the directory?

There is no fee to be listed on The Artisan List.  And you may discontinue your listing at any time.

How do I purchase products and make returns?

Every artisan handles their own customer care.  This includes sales, shipping, returns/exchanges.  You can contact them directly through their website to understand their individual policies.

What do I do if I have an issue with my order or the artisan?

The Artisan List does not assume any responsibility for transactions between artisans and their customers.  All artisans are independent craftsman and take sole responsibility for their business and transactions.  We strive to create an excellent and professional community of artisans.  We do want to be informed of any issues that you may have.
