Who has been your greatest influence?
I grew up in a small town in Nebraska. My grandparents settled there from Poland in the early 1900's. My greatest influence was my grandmother. She taught me so much when I was young. She taught me how to sew, make homemade bread and butter, milk the cows, garden, and so much more... I remember how rough her hands were from all of her work but she was so gentle and kind to me.

What do you love to do when you are not working on your craft?
I love spending time with my grandchildren! I have 2 granddaughters and 1 grandson. My grandchildren live an hour away so a day trip to see them is one of my favorite days! Also, my husband and I love to see new places, so we are always planning for our next adventure. We have never been to Australia and we think that may be our next trip!

What is the greatest advice you have been given?
The greatest advice I have received came from a teacher in grade school, Mrs. Nabor. I will never forget working on a science experiment that none of us could get right. She stopped the class, had all of us look her in the eyes and she told us to never give up on things we are excited about. It was something I will never forget. That advice has pushed me through many difficult projects and times in my life. There have been many things in my life that I could have given up on, but her advice has always rung in my head and helped motivate me to keep going.
