When did you first become interested in your craft?
My first interest in photography started when I was given a polaroid camera for my 10th birthday. I took hundreds of pictures and starting creating photo books for family and friends. Later, in high school, I had an amazing photography teacher. Her name was Mrs. Ferrick and she always encouraged me and told me I had a gift. I don't think I would have started taking pictures for a career if it were not for her believing in me.

What is the greatest advice you've been given?
The best advice I have received is to be yourself. Don't try to be like someone else - you do you. As a young photographer those words were a gift that allowed me to explore my own creativity. I learned that I love photographing children. They are so playful and winsome and every shot is unique and exciting!

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
I would love to travel to Thailand some day. I want to spend months, if possible, traveling to different villages and photographing some of their daily life and culture.
